Taylor Swift‘s fans expressed a lot of excitement when the singer announced that she would be going on tour to promote her latest body of work “reputation,” which since its release has become one of the biggest eras of the year, instantly gaining a multi-week #1 with “Look What You Made Me Do” and topping charts all around the world with the album, which has already managed to sell over two million units worldwide.
This amazing success has come to a stop with the respective tour, that is currently struggling to sell-out all of its dates, seeing a big decay in the artist’s tour stats. Despite the tickets being available for purchase for over a week, to this day (Dec. 17th), none of the programmed concerts have managed to sell out, with over a thousand seats remaining in most of the dates.
Speculation points to the elevated costs of the tickets as the main cause of the decay. A lot of fans have complained on social media on the matter, stating that they can’t afford the overpriced seats.

Major drama in #TaylorSwift land. I'm hearing that her camp is freaking out because after tour tickets went on sale to the general public, not a single show has old out yet. This has never happened!
Tickets are WAY MORE expensive for this tour! So, there's that. #ReputationTour

Extremely disappointed at how expensive @taylorswift13 tickets are this tour. My daughter and I have never missed a concert since she's started. Unfortunately we can't afford $400 seats:( # TaylorSwift #ReputationTour
