Six years ago, a group of girls was auditioning on The X Factor with the hopes of making their dreams come true and become singers. Camila Cabello, Lauren Jaurgui, Dinah Jane, Ally Brooke & Normani Kordei all auditioned as solo artists but were later put together by Simon Cowell to become one of the most successful girl groups in the past decade, Fifth Harmony.
The girls suffered a major lose last year when Camila left the group to pursue her solo dreams, splitting in the fandom half and creating a rivalry between the two. Nonetheless, the girlband decided to stick together as Fifth Harmony, releasing their self-titled album last year, and currently promoting their “PSA Tour,” which may be the last thing they do together, or at least, for now…

Various media outlets are reporting that Fifth Harmony will be going on an indefinite hiatus on May 16th after completing the last show of their tour. This way, they can put the girlband on hold, while each remaining member can engage with their solo endeavors .
There is still no confirmation from the girls themselves, but if the hire of new management teams and the release of new solo collabs are anything to go by, it’s only a matter of time until they make it official.
